i've seen those new on ebay ending pretty cheap, but i think they were thunder tiger. i'm pretty sure its like a 1/12-1/10 size pan car like chassis with rider and kart body.

I'm sure it could be some good fun for the price. The problem with HobbyKings cars, boats, and other vehicles is that they always say "parts coming soon!" but most of the time it seems like that never happens. So when something breaks you're out of luck.

This is not a Thunder Tiger, theirs has a gearbox, not a belt drive. I like this one better, more possibilities.
here is a pic to a thunder Tiger for comparison http://mms.tiger.tw/upload/2009-12/200912238933.jpg Looking at both, i see some nice features on both. Independent suspension on the TT makes it easier to setup, The solid axle on the HK makes it more durable and stable. The gearbox in the TT probably has a diff, easier to drive. Solid axle, no diff, so either pushy or twichy depending on tires. Personally i like the HK one, CF and alumnium everywhere and the solid axle make it a better racer, My opinion |
