switch question...
i know the monster mambas sometimes have bad switches. I'm not sure if i can call this one "bad", but it won't turn off. when i switch it to off, it stays on. i have to unplug it for it to turn off. anyone ever seen this one?

A switch can fail open or shut. I'd just cut off an inch out of case and solder together.

thanks for the reply. i'll make sure i do that.
much appreciated. |
I have one that does the same... right out of the box.

A nice sealed heavy duty metal toggle switch would be my choice. Properly mount it and run the wires nice and secure...

??? The one I linked to is a regular 2-position toggle... It happens to be double pole, but there is no center OFF position.
Edit- This switch might work better anyways... It's less likely to turn off in a crash. http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a...-SWITCH/1.html |
