HB D8 RC-Monster motor mount

just purchased the D8 conversion kit....fit and finish is amazing!!!

the newer style motor mount is giving me some grief.......i installed the silver pivot bushing on the bottom pivot mount and installed the black pivot bushing in the top to tighten the motor down

is the top screw only suppose to be tightened down?

i am new to this kind of mount, so please bare with me

thanks

Black bushing goes on the bottom, machined fit into the bottom hole,

Silver aluminum piece is a spacer that goes on the upper radius'ed slot.

both screws should be cranked down

is the bottom bushing suppose to slid all the way through the hole?

i figured there would some sort of stop machined in

no, it doesnt need it, the mount is just as strong as the older style mount as long as your upper screw stays tight.

i finally got it figured out

i had the bushings in the wrong spot.....switched them around and everything works fine now

thanks
