Xerun 150A esc + hpi torx 2200kv works? plus other question.
Do they?
I happen bought tork 2200kv for cheap . and i already has xerun 150A esc. I needed to find a male 5mm bullet to female 6mm bullet adaptor. Anyone know such source? Also i thought xerun esc has removable wires on the esc? (motor and battery wires) i couldnt pull it off. |
DON'T PULL ON THE ESC WIRES!!!!!!! They aren't removable. They are soldered on there. Most of the pics going around of the XERUN show it without the wires and it is a bit misleading. Just buy some CC bullet connectors and solder them to the XERUN ESC instead of the connectors that are already on there. You want to use an adapter but that would mean that each wire would have two pairs of connectors on it. That isn't good. It will almost certainly increase the resistance and it is just another failure point. Just change the connectors on the ESC to suit the motor.
And yes, the Flux Tork 2200kv will work just fine with the XERUN 150A. I have the XERUN with a Castle 2200 motor which is the same thing as the Flux tork 2200. They work together fine. |
+1 on the Hobbywing and Castle 22oo, I have this set up in two vehicles and they rock. Love the ABS feature.
