Maverick Blackout 1/5

http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?product_id=37994

I'm currently saving up to buy this + the Mamba XL combo. Will this be a good investment (Funwise..)? Anyone have any experience with this sort of monster as brushless?

It looks like a Rebrand of the redcat rampage MT or the nitrorcx version

what conversion you going to be using?

Castle 1/5 kit. And probably some custom made baja mount, not sure how the car drivetrain is setup yet.

yes that might be the problem getting the conversion to sit in it, will pm some one for a pic of the drive train if you want? for you so you can have a rough guess

Yeah that'd be nice.

thzero 01.15.2011 02:07 PM

Well Redcat is just rebranded stuff anyways... but yeah it looks like the same truck.

Was sorta hoping someone would do a Redcat conversion at some point and see how it pans out. :)

Yeah, not sure who made the original design though.

My goal is to buy this and the XL conversion kit, but I constantly do small orders for random stuff for my other cars, and it ends up consuming my budget, every time all the time. :S

I don't see how he has any. Considering Redcat doesn't even have them in stock yet.

I think that is Redcat. Both Redcat and that eBay store are in Phoenix, AZ. The item description even shows 2 3s LiPo's included.

Anybody know what motor that is?
