Big Joes on a truggy?

Anybody know if these will fit an RC8T, Or if they would be way too big? Won't be going to the track much and want to turn my RC8T into more of a monster truck basher.

Thanks.

I have put trenchers on my rc8t - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=640uJIyDuJw

You may need to adjust the steering epa so they don't bind up at full lock.

I would also be interested in the answer to this as I am also thinking of getting a set of 40 series wheels and tires for my XT8 truggy, I'm looking at mashers personally as they look like being better suited to my surface conditions but I guess if the wheels fit most tires for them will be good.

PinkPanda, i missed your post while I was posting, I notice you have no body on, with the body not fit on with 40 series wheels?

Does anyone make 40 series wheels with offset that may help ease fitment with body on?

I don't remember why I didn't use the body that day. I'm sure it was either because I was lazy or I waiting for new posts to be delivered (cause I ground them down from flipping the car on bitumen). The wheels didn't affect the body.

Another thing worth mentioning is because the trenchers are so tall the shocks bottom out before the chassis.

i tried on LST XXL tyres on my XT8 a while ago.had no fitment issues but killed my center CVD after 2 runs.looked great though

Hi.You'll probably have to drop the pinion size, stop the motor overheating.I've got big joes on my MMM'd up summit. Not too good on wet grass, good everywhere else :)

here are some pics of my muggy with big joes on her, runs like a dream with hd cups, rims are 420 losi dish dyed black. I love them just make sure to put two runs of tape on them if you are going to tape them up, if you only do one single run of tape down the middle it will expand on the outsides of the tape and you'll be ticked off...

I decided Big Joes would be a bit too big for the truggy. I went with Pro-Line Badland MT's on RPM Revolver MT wheels, new body with Fastlane Graphics wrap too.

Hope you taped those tires! Looks cool too,at some point I really want a truggy again,I so regret selling my rc8t. And your pics just reinforce how cool looking they are!--Josh

Thanks, I had to go with the original body, just don't like the new style truggy bodies.

I recently got these for $40 delivered. Far from the best but good for bashing.:mdr:
