T8 max rpm?
 

I can't find the max rpm for any of the 1/8 motors, specifically a T8 running on a 5s pack. I ran my last setup with a T8 1700kv on 5s and liked it but I think a 2100kv motor might be better suited. Thoughts? Anyone have the max rpm on these?

I had been running a 2000Kv T8 on 5S on my ST RR without any problems at all. I think the max rpm is 60K. I remember calling Tekin asking this question last year.

Oh good. What were your run times and which lipos were you using?

We don't have a "max rpm" spec. 5s and a 2000kv should be fine. I've driven it. Just don't free wheel it and you should be fine.
