Looks like you might have to wait until the Tekin rep chimes in. He comes here fairly often, so hopefully you'll get your answer soon. You could also call them to find out. When you do know the answer, please post it here so others can see it.

This is one of those bits of info that you'd like to know, but hope you never have to use! Like how to escape from quicksand, or what to do in a bear attack.

Here's the info you need:

Non-warranty replacement or repair:

RS -$79
RS Pro -$104
RX8 -$94
Redline Mini Motor -$30
Crawler Motor -$23
Pro Crawler Motor -$44
T8 Motor, Buggy -$73
T8 Motor, Truggy -$76
Redline Motor -$51
B1 -$32
B1R -$32
MiniRage-$41
FX -$54
FXR -$55
FX Pro -$66
FXR Pro -$66
R1 -$71
R1 Pro -$95

Warranty period is good for 120 days only. I bought 3 sets of RX8 systems last year (March) and I sent it to them last week for upgrade to a 3-hole case and board. 2 were still brand new and one was used in my truggy. Since I was on deployment from May until December last year, they told me that I don't have to pay anything for the repair/upgrade even though it has been over 120 days.

I just got an email from Tekin yesterday that my new RX8's are on their way.

yea ya know iv found that info before somewhere and was thinking they were kinda high ...
but then everyone i talked so nah man its all good i never spent more then $40 bucks each time and iv dun it like 5 times for diff stuff ... i was like REALLY ? hmm thats cheaper then castle ..... maybe i will tekin a go lol. but as always ill just hope not to have to use it ...

When considering that you just have to assume you'll have to pay list price on repairs, and if for some reason Tekin decides to help you out and give you a discount then it's a bonus. Even at the list prices it's still way better than having to pay for a brand new item.

+1 on Tekin I am going with them on my truggy build.
