5.5mm connectors

This is a dumb question, as i'm sure i have asked many by now. But the male connectors, what is the best way to attach them to the wire to the controller?:007:

solder

just dump solder in the holes on the side of the connector? they a goldish, will the solder stick ok? if i use a little flux? makes sense, can you confirm??? thanks again mills man!!!!

strip the wire a bit too long, stuff all the wire in the 5.5 and let the solder do the rest of the job..

Thanks! getting closer!!!!

You forgot to put flux in hole first rene. The solder don't like to stick with out the flux.

If you've got the solder with resin in it, there really is no need for flux, the plugs are clean enough.

And you gotta get those plugs and wires hot so the solder bonds to the metal. Even if the solder itself melts, it might not bond to the connector/wire unless both are hot enough. Cold solder joint=bad connection=hot connector under high amperage and a little less voltage at your motor.

I have alot better luck with a little flux. I would rather use and stick than not and not stick. Easier to do it once.

Got them on perfect, used a little flux. WEnt very well and very clean! both were definatley hot enough. Much easier than deans i might add!!!!!
