FLM Parts Not Fitting?

I have the 3905 Extended Chassis and Hybrid Bulks.

The chassis does not fit flush with the bulks is this normal? The grove where the two meet is not wide enough.

The stock shock towers do not fit the hybrid bulks. I have ordered FLM shock towers they look to be thiner than the stock ones so they should fit.

The Hybrid Bulks only came with lower hinge pins what pins do you use for the uppers? The stock pins will not fit through the FLM chassis.

I had the same problem with the FLM chassis that I got a couple months ago. I ended up using a dermal to widen the slots and take just a bit of the bulkheads, GH. It came with parts that I still don’t what they are for and no instructions at all. If you are running RPM arms you will have to grind off a spot on each side for the upper front arms to clear. I keep wondering if I am the only one who is tired of after market parts that have to be modified to fit/do what they are sold as when you buy them. It seems people in this hobby will tolerate anything and manufactures know it.
Rant over.

Thanks for the reply, i was just starting to think it was just me.

There needs to be some instructions it's not like these parts are cheap to buy. I've just been going by pics on the web and guessing. I still don't get why the hybrid bulks came with lower hing pins and no uppers.
