HPI MT2 conversion?
Since I sold my BL rusty and moved on to a BL E-Revo, I miss the cheapness/nimbleness of a 1/10 stadium truck, but I don't miss the 2WD.
Does anybody have any experience here with the HPI MT2? Just curious if it worth my while to convert or not. It seems like a perfect fit for 3s and a big 'ole castle motor. :intello: I also plan on making a carbon chassis with a revo style suspension set up (I have pics from somebody who did it on a rustler). How's it durability wise? Especially the diffs.... Thanks! |
I think the castle short course motor (3800) on 3s would be great in that. Check here for the one I did. As long as you get the upgraded diffs, you should be fine.

Cool. As for the upgraded diffs, what are they called?
Also, what are the opinions concerning the Losi Ten-T? |
The diffs are the ones out of the 18ss, you should be able to look up the part # on HPI web site.
The Ten-T may be even better choice than the HPI. |
You could also look at a CRT.5 with Mikes extended chassis.
I like the Ten-T and Hyper TT a lot as well. Nick |
I like the looks of the Hyper TT a lot. Thanks!:intello:
