MM won't talk to CastleLink

Hey guys, I have an older MM ESC I am using in my drifter project, went to update the settings via Castle Link and it won't recognise it. I have tried the driver install support page and how to try and re-install the driver through device manager but no joy even after reinstalling Castlelink itself.

Latest version Castle Link and computer is running Windows 7 64 Bit.

I was looking at a Field Card anyway, if I got that, could I update the MM and the MM Pro in my SC8e using that and use castlelink through the card on both or would the MM still want to use it's own USB port?

You need to update the MM to the latest firmware using the USB port on a 32bit machine first.

Then you can use the castlelink dongle via the RX wire on W7 64bt

If you are planning on using the MM on 4s lipo (or anything over 3s) you cannot go past v1.28. After that there is overvoltage protection. Found that out myself recently.

Voltage limitation isn't an issue, it'll only use 2 or 3s lipo. But I have to find another computer just to do this initial update to allow it to use the programming card?
