wabash wheels?

i dyed my wabash wheels last night and was wondering if i should drill (2) 1/8" holes in each wheel? i think this is standard practice, but just wanted to make sure. thanks, carl.

For what? Air holes?

tallyram 04.24.2006 05:09 PM

yeah. on my t4 and 18t proline wheels come predrilled. prolines site recommends putting 2 holes in each wheel, resulting in a smoother and less bouncy ride. guess i should've checked there first. sorry.

Or you could put 2 small holes in the tires themselves - not the rims - Use a drill bit and make a round hole - not a razor knife - the knife will make the cut rip - with the holes in the tires the dirt and stuff that gets in the tire has a way to spin the stuff out...

also, using the duct tape trick, someone said to wrap each tire twice. is that side by side or 2 layers on top of each other? i'm using standard width tape.

I put 2 layers of duct tape on my dirt bonz and it seemed to work well.
