EEEEK! Problem....

Hey guys, sorry about this thread, but its in the sake of my truck. So me and mike.l are bashing in my backyard, and i gun it, i let go of throttle, and it keeps going:eek: It crashed right into a wooden fence, head on with the bumper, luckily no broken parts (this was at the 40mph mark).

So i disconnected everything, and checked if everything was alright, so i plugged in the batteries and went off, i gave it throttle gradually and it took off again, but this time it killed itself, it just went from full throttle, to a rolling stop. Whats the problem guys? Thanks.

P.s: Its a 10l/9920 on 16 ib4200's / Spektrum DX3.

Anyone, please. I just tried fixing the problem, i tried re-binding my dx-3, at the last step, everything turned off, than went nuts. It went full speed into the wall, it burned some of my carpet, and my hand, and it broke a couple of tiles. It also demolished my DX3, gonna have to go to the hobbyshop for a replacement. I just have the feeling RC is not for me.

You have any other radios to try?

"RC is not for me" doesn't work. TRUST ME. After 4 controller replacements, you kind of tend to get used to bad things happening.

Oh my!
What have you done now dom?
How many knots did the woman put on your head after she saw the tiles broke?
I have not had nothing like this on mine. I have noticed that it has a fail safe built in. When I first plug it up it wants to run wide open reverse. I have not run it out and had it kick in while playing.

Well, could it be the problem that i have to re-program the esc? Before when i had 14 GP 3300 batteries it never did this, but now the the 16 ib4200's it is different. Could it be the problem?

coolhandcountry 04.26.2006 07:46 PM

Once I got mine programed Unless i changed like rx or radio I never had to reprogram it. I don't know what to tell you. It sure sounds crazy.

man just joking around but when brushless is uncontrolled lives and everything around you is at-stake im just joking around here but me and sylvester got tire burns from trying to get that thing under controll.

Man.....

Sylvester 04.26.2006 08:23 PM

Yeah, im gonna have nightmares tonight... My responces are practicly bald from todays incodent.

Mike.L 04.26.2006 08:25 PM

ya when it hit the wooden fench that was freeeekky!

coolhandcountry 04.26.2006 08:25 PM

I can believe that. The tires spinning at 40 mph don't have to touch you long to leave a mark. The spektrum had a problem on them and showed slyvester on the site. I don't know if this is problem or not. It is a little thing with the way the antenna wire is run inside the rx.

Thanks, i have found that the reciever may be the problem, gonna try the stocker out in just a moment! I wonder if the 1 year warranty is garranteed for any crazy bl trucks going over it? Ill just have to see.

Mike.L 04.26.2006 08:44 PM

Well boys, i think i solved my problem, the wire inside the reciever was hanging on 1 thread, and the transmitters wire was unclipped so i took it apart and clipped it on there, i tested it out, it seemed fine, just gonna do some more testing tomorrow.

bigabike 04.26.2006 10:13 PM
