Getting rid of one... MBX6T or Sav Flux
I have my MBX6T with a 1518 and my PRC CF Savage Flux with a 1520. I rarely have time for either one but I don't want to sell both. I don't race and will keep one strictly for bashing but can't decide. I like my MBX6T but it's just not as durable as the Flux. I like the Flux but I hate the design and it's a pain in the ass to work on. Taking apart and rebuilding is one of my favorite parts of the hobby (which is why I have a hatred towards my Savage.) I seriously can't decide. :mdr: What do you guys think?

I'm the same as you, much of my enjoyment in this hobby comes from building and wrenching on my vehicles. I really like the standard 3-diff buggy/truggy setup when it comes to that along with the plate chassis. I've never had a TVP truck like the Savage, but I sold my E-Revo for the same reason. It was an awesome vehicle but I hated working on it.
If it was me I'd keep the Mugen. It might not be quite as durable, but they are still very stout, and a few broken parts every now and then just gives you more reason to wrench on it! |
If you only knew what my wrench/build time to actual play time was!
Which brings up exactly why it's hard to let go of the Flux... there's a constant project going on for it and something that can be fixed or improved. Where as the MBX6T I have nothing left to tinker with (I shouldn't be complaining about that at all.) You have a point though. I've only broken an arm on the truggy throughout all the bashing I put it through. I really can't say that it's not durable. |
I've found the Losi LST's are one of the easiest trucks to work on and they are very tough. And there are enough mods to make it even better.
So sell both and get a XXL. |

I'll give you one (or not, maybe you don't like it at all). Battery is placed in the front, where it should be.

Just sell the Mugen to me.

I agree; sell both and get the XXL. According to Losi's website, the XXL has been clocked at a whopping 1200mph. Don't believe me? Go to the site and scroll down to where it shows the radio's telemetry readout.
Anyway, I personally would keep the truggy, but that's just me. |
Yeah I actually started taking apart the savage last night so my decision is pretty final. You savage guys are going to see a lot of goodies up for sale tomorrow! It would have been a lot easier if work, sleep, and Black Ops didn't take up 20hrs of my day.
