Runtime

How long runtime chould i get with a t3 truck withbthis setup:
Mm-esc,5700kv cc motor and a 2s 4000 mah 40c lipopack. Geared 17/87??

I would guess at least in the neighborhood of 15-20 minutes depends on driving style. I have a 17.5t (2200kv) with a mmpro in my sc10 geared 87/21 and I can get about 45 minutes on a 5600mah pack. Your motor is a lot hotter than that 17.5 in mine but a t3 is lighter than a sc10

It all really depends on your driving style. If you're doing a lot of high speed runs with heavy acceleration, your run times will be significantly lower than by running partial throttle, with a smooth throttle response. It could be less than 15 and well over 20 based on driving style. Lowering the timing advance on the ESC will help increase run-time slightly. Also turning on the torque limit feature will help as well. Every time the tires spin, that's basically wasted energy that wasn't used to move or speed up the truck. Using the torque limit setting will reduce the amount of power the motor pulls, which will in turn increase run time.

Your low voltage cut-off will also affect the usable run-time. A higher cut-off will engage sooner and reduce the amount of time you can run.

Hi !

I,m using the stock tires och a dirttrak so i have like no grip :)
i have problems with signal loss whith this combo ? i can run for 1 pack with next to no problems but when i put the second pack in the motor cutsout and that no fun hehe what can cause this ? i have a spectrum dx3 pro tx and ar300rx. And the packs are new and works perfekt in my e.maxx.

Might be the thermal protection kicking in perhaps, especially if you are running packs back to back without much of a rest inbetwen; what temps are you getting on the electronics?

About 40-50 celsius on the motor and 30 something on the esc

i need some help i got the mamba 2200kv and i am looking to buy the HYPERION G3 VX 6500 MAH 5S 18.5V 35C/65C LIPOLY PACK.. would u beable to help me with a run time? i am worried i will get the battary and it wont laster the 10-15 min thanks.

It's not easy to determine runtime, there are many variables. The vehicle, gearing, tires, motor, weight, and driving style all play a factor. I'm guessing your talking about a Truggy since your going with a 2200 and 5s. I ran my RC8T with a 1515 2.5D on 5s 4500mah geared for about 37 on the track and I could get 17 minutes with smooth throttle control. If I was going balls to the walls I was cutting it close for the 12 minute mains at my track
