The voltage is 8,3v and when i charged it (before it started to swell ) it charged like usual .

nail+hammer... the only "safe" way of disposing them...

Chuck it

I thought putting it in a bucket of salt water for 48 hours before tossing it was the only safe disposal?

Less dramatic disposal but reccomended ^^

My boss brought over a swollen lipo to my house and asked what he should do with it. I grabed a hammer and a nail, laid it on the grass and hammered the nail through it. Great fun. Then the tool a few weeks later decided to do the same but instead of doing it on the grass like I did he thought he would do it on his wooden bench and then just throw it in the back yard before if engulfs in flames. Well the idiot drove the nail straight through the lipo and the it went into the wooden bench. I am not kidding about this. He even called the wife out to the garage to see the show. Apparantley she blasted him for about a week because of the burn marks on the bench and the huge black spot on their garage ceiling. Man I wish I was there.

just remove the bad lipo cell and you'll still have a battery! (i guess if it's a 2s you'll have a pretty worthless battery...)
