Building an brusshless Hpi baja 5B

I'm about to bulid me one brushless baja.
I've been looking at the cc conversion kit, but I don't think it gives enough power.
So I've been thinking about the Phoenix Ice HV 160 on 12 s lipos, can this be used in cars with mechanical breaks?
But with motor shold I get? I whant more than than the neu 2028 can give, how wood i do with a neu 2220 1.5/Y and 12s lipos.
I'd like to outrun the other gas powered bajas  i whant them al, OBR ESP or CC, 27.2 29 or 30,5 i whant them to feel the brushless power:lol:

Yes, it can - you'll need a pistix to run it with a surface transmitter.

I don't think the 2220 will give you more power than the 2028. Neu rates the 2220 at 6400 Watts burst, Castle claims 10hp (7400 Watts) for the 2028. The 2225 or 2230 should be more powerful than the 2028, though.

Hm okey, but where can I get my hands on a pistix

I have had bursts of over 8000 watts with my 2220 on 11s.

When they have them in stock, this is the cheapest I've seen them:

the castle conversion kit with the 2028 motor running a couple good 4s batteries in series (8s1p) or 4 (8s2p) should still be faster than just about any gasser. i've seen one in person and it was crazy how much power it made. you will most likely have to beef up the driveline to handle the power.

edit: also, you will not need an external bec or a pistix with the MMMXL combo and the motor is already sealed.
