Confirmation right wiring XUSHOBBY ubec
1 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I soldered the plus and minus to the plus and minus of the esc 5,5mm plugs. I also extended the wires from the ubec. Did I wired the ubec correctly? Thanks! |
Yeah, you did a great job Jasper..
|
Looks good to me.
Like the esc holder. Do you have some foam on it to protect it? |
Thanks!
No, I don't have foam in the holder to protect the esc. I have driven now about 40 battery cycles with this holder. And it is still doing fine. |
I think you'll like this UBEC. It's nice and portable, and works well.
|
thanks for taking a picture. that will help me out too :027:

@ MetalMan,
Indeed, I really like this UBEC! I mounted the ubec this afternoon and did a test drive. I noticed that I had less glitching when I drive the truck farther away from me. The cogging at starting-up seems also be reduced. And offcourse, the weight thing is also a big plus! @ Capital, You're welcome. I allready thought that this picture could help more people :017: |
It helped me too.
Just got a question, does this thing warm up?(running 1 5955 servo) Cause I plan on using a very tight receiver box, don't want it to catch fire or something. |
It hasn't heated up any more than maybe 85 deg. F using a BMS-620MG servo in a 1/8 buggy for me.
|
After 30 minutes of hard driving the UBEC got hand warm. With a BMS 630MG and a stock HPI servo for breaking.
|
What kind of battery plugs are those?
|
Prolly corally gold female plug's 4mm.
