Rckcrwlr is hitting the open seas to Destroy the Enemy

I have always had a love for the RC Boats. Many times I have had my hand on the trigger of one of the myriad of watercraft out there, but always backed away from them. I own two full Billing Boat kits that I have not been able to bring myself to start building yet (Probably when I retire).

And I fell in love...

Here are some pics from the site:

Now you ask...why is this thing so appealing...

Well it is a Plug'n Play (B'nD) Kit. It comes almost fully assembled and the details are amazing...

And most of all...

Proboat makes some nicely detailed stuff.

Now get a remote operated paintball gun installed and go blast some ducks !

I was into boats a couple times briefly and going fast just wasn't cutting it for me, I really like the scale boats a lot more now. Almost bought a MrDarby tug last year that was a impressive build with twin outdrives w/bow thrusters and 30lbs of ballast. Was a big SOB.

I'm jealous of your new rig, the thread title was clever as well.

Dang, you went over your photobucket limit!

That's pretty sweet. Never much interested in the go fast boats, but that looks cool.

+2 on the need for armament. An RC naval paintball battle would be fun.
