the theory is yes ............ 200a is much ...... if this is true is also possible use a 1515 2200 or more :surprised:

but this is only the theory .......

I'm gonna have to vote "No", since the VXL is a 1/10 ESC and the CC 1515 is a 1/8 motor. Plus, I haven't seen anyone here try it yet.

well honestly the traxxas esc blows all the time with the stock vxl motor, but yes it can run the 2200 , the question is how long

I see it working for a very limited time at best, That TRX ESC just doesn't have much to be desired. If you install that combo in a heaver RC such as 7-8lbs+ it'll surely let the smoke out post haste.

The listed rating for the vxl is is BS at best- it's not as powerful as the Sidewinder esc, and thats rated for ~60amps; I would advise against using the MMM motors with the vxl esc...

My vxl esc went bad from just running it in a rustler. I would not recommend running it with that motor. Besides, it would overheat very quickly. Mine would thermal after running in grass in a 2wd 1/10 truck, so anything bigger would be way too much for it.

The vxl esc is only rated for 2 pole motors- 1515s are 4 pole so no way i would trust that pos with a great motor like a 1515.

sell the vxl and buy a better esc ;) ......... mmm, xerun/ezrun 150a, leopard 150a, etc .... you have much great options will work great with this motor :)
