Need Help to I.D my new 1/8 buggy

While rolling around my local farmers market I came accross this 1/8 buggy for $10.00 so I jumped on it. I almost pee'd a little when the guy told me the price. I know I got a great deal now I just need to figure out the make and modle so I can get the right body and conversion kit for it and drop in my MMM 2200 or 2650. Any help would be great.

it has HS 625 and 645 servos that work and the drive train feels smooth but I will rebuild all the diffs with new fluid. One rear shock leaks from the bottom but I think I can get parts to rebuild them.

I hope it is a model that castle has a kit for but if not Mike will have a motor mount and custom battery tray. For the price I cant complain about investing in quality parts.

heres a link for photos as I don't know how to put them in my post

My guess is something made Kyosho.

Ofna? A few of the parts on that buggy bear a strong resemblance to my GTP... Hmmm...

the RX box screams kyosho to me...

maybe the buggy before the mp7.5?

and you probably got the shaft on that deal... a friend just picked up a NEW(open box) caster ex1 buggy for $115...

It's not an MP6, I have 2 of those-does'nt match. Also, all my MP6 Al. parts are blue, not purple. Don

I'm rather sure it's an early Hotbodies Lightning buggy. Not sure if it holds up to much abuse, it's more of an entry model than for racing.

Nice try jeff, the hot bodies has a lay down steering servo and a flat battery box.

Op's is standup and has a ribbed lid.

I'm thinking redcat.....

When you are browsing through your albums hover your mouse over a pic and a little menu will pop up showing a few different types of links. Click on the link labelled "IMG code" and it will automatically copy the link. Then paste it into your post and the picture will be displayed.

those buggies are everywhere where i live and it is a sacker or sacker pro
i have the remnants of one and the radio box with no name is a giveaway and the brown anodized shocks
also sold as ming yang sacker
closely related to ofna and hong nor and kyosho
pretty good quality for a non big name brand
and the diffs direct fit onto kyosho mp chassis
