Lipo for Stampede 4x4

Just got myself a Stampede 4x4. Iwas wondering how high I have to go on the c rate/mah on lipos for this kind of truck. On my E-maxx I run 5000 mah/40c lipos, but thought if I cut go lower on the c rate and mah, when buying new lipos for the Stampede.

You need to stay under 143mm long and under 50mm wide but most or all hard case packs shound fit.

the packs that i posted links to will fit in the stampede. they are listed as slightly too big for the battery tray, but they do fit. hobbyking tends to slightly overrate the size of their packs. its to prevent people from complaining about packs not fitting their application.

I use these:

Gotta do a small amount of trimming for the battery wires. Takes 1 minute...

I am running 2s to keep the part breakage down, and the shear fun level up. Get about 35 minutes out of each pack. The P4de is a great simple little basher!

When it's time for me to rebuy, i will be buying the nano-techs. I use them in my truggy and rock-racer and they have a great discharge and slightly longer runtimes.

Have fun,
