rc8t conversion kit
 

im thinkin of converting a rc8t to electric. can i use any motor/esc combo out there?or it can only use specific brands of esc/motor combo?thanks!

yu can use whatever you want with the kit as long as it's capable of handling a 1/8 truck. a mmm 2200 combo is a favorite choice

I love Tekin Rx8/1700 combo. Have had two of them, loved both of them. I had Mike's conversion on my RC8T...that was very very clean and well thought out. Loved it as well.

have just picked up a hobbywing esc and tekin motor. i want to try the sensored dealio

In a similar truggy, my mbx5T, I run a 1520 on 5s and it is a beast. The hardest isuue I had with this set up was what diff oil to use to stop excess wheel spin. Nice prob to have. :yes:
