19 series LMTs

Peace friends! How's it going around here? I'm really missing the heat of BRUSHLESSSSSSSSSSSS.....

Well, to make a long story short: Where can I get a 1930/4 motor?
I want to use it in a 1/10 buggy.

These things have become as rare as gems these days. :(

Don't know what you mean?
Lehner is still doing business, and 1930/4 Lehners are readily available.
Just order from them directly.

Hope this helps.

I mean, there aren't any dealers here in the US, except for one who doesn't seem that helpful. Ordering directly from HQ will take a long time, since these motors are made per order and not as a mass produced item(IIRC). Not to mention that they're shipping costs, and the prices of these motors from Germany are extremely high. I only found one other US dealer( ductedfans.com) who sells them, but only the ones used for aerial purposes.
I feel sorry I sold my 1930/5 as well as the 1950/10.

For a high quality US option, you can't go wrong with castle creation's new 1406 series motors for 1/10 buggies and trucks. They are greatly improved from the older castle motors and should perform on par with the high-end german motors.

Do they use segmented rotors? I know the Neu does, but what about the CC ones?

TexasSP 09.11.2011 08:41 AM

Yes, they are effectively neu clones.

BTW, is there a photo around here that shows the rotor of one of these Neu- Castle motors without the Kevlar wrapping?

Ordering them direct is your best bet..

A while back I was selling my 2 Lehners 1920 motors. One is a 1920/10 and the other is a 1920/5. I bought them used and they work fine. I have never used them in a vehicle though. If you're interested, send me an e-mail at brasuca2478@hotmail.com and I'll make you a nice deal for both. Here are pics and videos:
