Lunchbox!

In 1987, I received the Lunchbox for a christmas present. I loved that thing. I drove hundreds of niMh through that thing... Still have it actually. And last year my wife bought a 2011 Scion XB. Extremely roomy, peppy car (it's a 5speed). Super fun to drive.

So here's my tribute (with a twist) to my first RC. Sucker is tough and peppy. Pede 4x4 with MIPs and big bores. The suspension tuned perfectly (took a while). This is just my neighborhood basher, nothing more, nothing less. Just a fun way to spend an hour or so, without the stress of racing. I love the look, and it brings me back to my childhood! I don't care if it's corny, it's fun to watch bounce and jump around the dirt...

Her's my running fleet:
Lunchbox P4de, R1 Scale Rock Buggy, eMbx6T.

I had the midnight pumpkin back in the day and I believe they were the same except the bodies were different. I remember bringing the pumpkin to my local track just before it closed and basically killed it...it was fun though

Fantastic look. I love the old Tamiyas and have a Stampede 4x4, that needs some upgrades, so thanks for the inspiration to a cool body.

Yeah, the Pumpkin was exactly the same, except for the shell... Fun to reminisce.
