Mini STE SCT3800 GEARING
 

i picked up my old STE this week from the guy i sold it to 2 years ago.. He barely ran it.

Being bored with the Rusty with my SCT3800 i decided to the the BL System in the STE.

Granted it is dark out so i am running off street lights with 2.2 Glads on RPM rims, 2s lipo, weighing 5.5 pounds, geared with a 15T pinion; it does not seem to have the snappy take off i am used to with the rustler with 2.8 badlands on it using same lipo. It also does not seem to have the same top end. (I know you all hate these posts sometimes)

I'll try to make this a simple question, Is the 15T pinion too high of a gearing for this system?
I am looking forward to trying the SPC pack tomorrow, i am sure it will help. It is a higher C rated pack...
