RC-Monster Drive shaft coupler issues

Hey guy's, I just got a set of RC-Monster drive shaft couplers to allow me to use the stock revo center slider shafts with the Losi LST diffs and they don't fit, As soon as they get past the 8mm portion they won't go any farther and it looks like even if it didn't stop there the grub screw wouldn't ever make it to the shaft because of how short the LST shaft is. Was there something else I needed to make them work?

Those couplers were specifically for the RC-Monster v3 revo hybrids - the pinion shafts are 8mm at the bearing and 5mm at the drive cup. The couplers would need to be drilled and reamed through to 8mm and likely a new set screw hole would need to be machined to make them work on the LST diffs - easy to do if you have a lathe and drill press, but not so easy with normal hand tools.

Thank's Mike. I just wanted to make sure that was what I was going to have to do before I tried drilling them.
