Rough idea of budget?
There are a great many servos in the $10-$90 price range that would do just perfect, I'll chuck a few ideas at you: Turnigy 1501MG 236in/oz $12 ( same as the PowerHD 1501 apparently ) Turnigy MG959 200in/oz $24 Turnigy S8166M 430in/oz $25- 1/4 scale however but I use it in my TXT-1 & it's a beast, so worth considering if you can make it fit. Turnigy 9150MG 210in/oz $30 Hyperion Atlas DS20-UMD 326in/oz $44 Savox SX-1256TG 277in/oz $80- I use this on my Gmaxx & it's a great servo, would like a little extra torque but for the price & bashing it is just fine. Ace DS1015 201in/oz $81 Spektrum S6030 278in/oz $85 ( they say it's not recommended for 1/8 offroad models, only 1/10 however, which is kinda odd given it's spec ) Tower Hobbies TS-170 333in/oz $90 There are plenty more out there no doubt, but that's a good selection that should work alright- in a muggy, I'd say upwards of 250in/oz should be fine, depends on the total weight & the weight/size of the tires really... |
I really don't want to spend more than $40 on a servo since i don't race. I run truggy tires usually but i need something with enough torque to turn bigger tires too. Thanks a ton fot all those choices! Ill definitely take a look at several of those.

And as much as i want it to I'm almost sure the 4th scale S8166M won't fit but the 1501mg looks promising.

I read that this one is really good, better than the 1501mg by far and its only $8! Looks like that's what im getting.
