I want a new vechicle to play with.
Currently have batteries, ESC, and motor.
I have the 1717 castle motore with controler.
I need something large enough to handle this.
I do like the idea of having a transmission of some sort.
I do like large as well. 1/8 would be fine
Could someone suggest something for me?
I am selling off parts to buy more stuff for project.
I have looked at LST and various trucks.
I have a MGT in posession as well and considered some mods to it.
I am open to ideas.

Hey peeps sorry I was gone so long!

Just "borrow" one of mikes extended savages.

I have to drive up and see if he let me do that.
I was leaning to making a new savage.
I debating on putting a trans in it though for things I do.
I kind of like idea of the new revo/ Emaxx trans with the lower first gear.
2nd would be for more wide open areas.

I just eliminated the trans on mine and used mikes cd mount with a spool. Gets rid of excess gears and gets the motor low in middle of chassis.

I had one of those before.
Not exactly what I am looking for again.
I want large tires.
Stronge diffs can be lockable or just oil for limited slip.
Something that doesn't break if drop out of hands.
Weight not real concerned about.
Do like idea of 2 speed for I do some slow speed stuff some times.
Not really crawler speeds but nothing high speed as well.

If Big is your thing, how about the Cen Genesis

I like the size of those.
Probably would do a savage first though.
Seems more parts avilable for savage.
Could do an extended savage with large tires.
I got some about 6 1/2 inches tall now.

Got a quick question. I read around and didn't find nothing that really stood out.
If running the Mamba monster max. Would the internal bec be fine on 4s lipo to run a single servo of 333 oz of torque?

I want versatile.
Nothing fast.
I always thought this was best place for advice.

I have picked up my transmission today.
Still debating and wanting feed back.
Could mount the trans in the MGT.
Could get a FLM chassis since still got front and back bulks and diffs.
Could pick up a savage roller off ebay and build.
Could put trans on a LST truck.
What would you do?
Limited budget at moment.
Should I go with the 1717 castle motor or sell and go smaller as well?
Only plan to run 4s lipo.
