Pic of Tekin 4600kv Pro4

Here's a pic of the Tekin Pro4 4600kv motor. It's a standard size 540 motor. Rotor magnet is 19mmx20mm as measured. Rotor shaft is 5mm throughout. I bought the motor for the sensored part and it being cheaper than me getting a new B50-8s Hacker motor. Still need to try it out in my crt.5.

When you say 19x20, which one is the diameter of magnet?

snellemin 12.30.2011 11:09 AM

19mm is the diameter and 20mm is the length of the magnet material.

19mm is fairly fat
Should have loads of torque.

It should.

The Hacker B50S motor has a 18.15mm X 20.99mm rotor.

I ran the Tekin motor in the RCM CRT.5. It has good torque, but nothing like what the B50 Hacker has. The B50 Hacker and Neu 1506 both have better braking power. ESC was the MMM with the 3 extra caps and 2s Gensace packs.

I did use all 3 motors(Hacker, Neu, Tekin) today, so I feel it was a good comparison of what the Tekin is capable off. Tekin motor temp went over 150F.
I did a bunch of 78F dragraces with my son, who is running a CRT.5 with a C40-8L Hacker motor. The races always ended close with the Tekin winning my an inch or so.
