Weird Problem with ESC..I think!

Ok so here is my Hyper TT and it is running kinda weird. Here is a vid.

It has a Speed Passion GT PRO 2.0 ESC and a
Tekin SC4X 4.5T 550 motor a Savox 1258 servo. My problem is that the boost function is not kicking like it should.

As you can tell from the video I am holding it at full throttle and it kicks into boost after a few seconds. I tried a new sensor wire and will be changing out the motor to a Novak Ballistic 4.5 550 to see if it helps. I am also running the current firmware on the ESC and the settings are the ones from Speed Passions website for the SCTE Losi truck. I tried a new sensor cable and it still does the same thing. As you can see in the vid it is cutting out right before the boost kicks in.

Am I pushing the ESC too hard with the 4.5??

If you have any thoughts please let me know.

That is your batteries.

Can't provide enough juice - try adding punch control / lowering gearing.

Ok, Thanks.

Now say it is the batteries....then why would it drop out for a minute then go all out like it is supposed too??

From a dead stop it will take off like a raped ape (most of the times) it is more when I lightly apply the throttle or I am already going and pin the throttle that this will happen.

Batteries are new (still could be bad though) they are a 40c 5400mAh nano-tech.

Edit: you are correct in the problem being the batteries....I turned off the lipo cut-off and it does not hesitate any. So, I will try to dial down the punch to see if it helps.

Are Gens Ace good batteries?

Thanks.
