As Of Today, 1-1-12 Whats the Best Firmware For The MMMv3?!?

The reason i ask is because, i stopped running RC cars for a little over a year and have no kept up. I just got back into it slowly over the course of the past month and i just wanted to be up to date.

The last time i was really into it castle has just released the firmware with the bottom end torque control but i never updated to that software, i remember there was a issue with the software and it was removed (i think)and i don't know if it was ever re-released (i stopped keeping up with it and stopped running cars). As i sit i have i believe i have 7 MMMv3 thru out a few cars and a few spares. Id like to be on the latest and greatest firmware but im not sure which one i should upgrade too??? What are you guys on?? Whats the last dependable, proven firmware?!?!?!?!

Do the new software add data logging to the ESC or is that a hardware upgrade with will be only exclusive to new ESC's. Are our older models capable of this technology???

Oh and last question was the car software for the ICE ESC ever released?! Just wondering?!? i bought a XL2 the other day and remembered about ICE software's existence!?

I went to v 1.24 think it is.
Seems smoother on bottom end to me.
It is not the newest but what works for me.

Yes, 1.24 is usually the latest you can run on some of the older ones, later firmware causes problems. I had been running 1.21 on mine forever... until I sent in for new one.

Then on that note, if it isnt broken DON'T FIX IT. All of my ESC's are fine i was just wondering if i should upgrade or not if its even worth it.

I had tried upgrading the old Monsters several times, but always had issues, so went back to 1.21 and left them alone.

What version MMM are they at now? I just got two last week from amain and they are both v3's. Is amain's stock old? One of them took a dump during radio calibration, the other seems to work fine in my Savage.

When you say v3 though, are you certain ( as in, you opened up the esc and looked on the little white label to see the production date )? Castle is upto v5 on the MMM currently, or v6 ( I forget.... ).

V3 was on a label on the bottom of the box, that may not mean anything though.

MY dealer here in germany does show V3 in his shop, but i got a V5 some weeks ago.

I have zero issues with the latest firmware 1.32
I use torque control with my 1410 1Y on 2S and this only working with 1.32

Love it

Exactly - I think the newest ESCs are still labeled "V3", but internally Castle is continually updating and upgrading.
