S.O.S on a Nomadio Sensor

I finally fixed my Nomadio sensor wheel assembly. I DL'ed the nomadio software and can't get the USB to work with windows 7 starter on my netbook, even run as admin. Is there a way to make it work? If not, no big, it runs good and i will run it till it falls apart

Thanks for any help

Uh oh.

UH OH. I hadn't even thought about that. All of their software was based on Microsoft Windows earlier versions, and with Windows 7 a lot has changed that create problems for using anything based on the old OS. I guess I better keep one of our older laptops up with the old Microsoft OS so I can keep the Sensors we have working. Thanks for the heads up, and I doubt that there is much anyone is going to do in order to make the two compatable seeing how Nomadio has abandoned the R/C world all together. Maybe now that the war is winding down Nomadio might wonder back into our realm once again looking for business $$$$. Man that sucks. Let us know if soething changes for the better.

I'm using Win7 with the Nomadio. However I'm using Win7pro and I didn't know Win7 starter would be any different installing the software.

I DL'ed it fine, got the registration thing as well, When it starts, It says" can't find communications port" , I try to find sensor, but it can't be found. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong, or if the Win 7 starter is not compatible. Not to worried though, It works fine, don't need the program. just wanted to be able to save profiles. I do have an older desktop, with XP, so should be able to use that

I read something about this with gen 1 logitec USB controlers...

It is a USB interface, but they use a an emulated serial port to run...

IRRC pro has the correct drivers/etc for it but lower versions dont.

I can understand that, thanks for the info. I am hoping to get a better laptop by summer, maybe it can handle it
