If all you have is a 2650 on 6S you really need to be careful with gearing...my suggestion is get the correct motor for your application and it will help tremendously. On 6S a 1400kv Tekin motor would be perfect and probably run cooler and more efficient with proper gearing

Having the correct motor/batt/esc combo is a huge reason why people either have success or have problems. It took me awhile to figure all that out and it ended up costing me a couple of motors and esc because I did not take the advice of many guys here. Better to buy the correct motor for the amount of cells you are using....makes a huge difference

1400 castle 1400 tekin ?

Castle doesn't have 1400kv buggy size motors. Either the Tekin or a Neu. You can mess around with timing boost with the Tekin, since it's a Y wound motor. I have both the Tekno Neu 2y and Tekin 2y motors. Both are great motors. If you go with Neu, you can mess around with 8s for your speed runs.
