8x15x5mm bearings
does any1 now if or where i can get some 8x15x5mm bearings to fit the supermaxx CVD's in the RPM hub carriers
|
Nope..
two options; Use 10X15X4 bearings and find a 8X10 convertor thingy.. (easiest way imo but you don't have got the strongest bearings then) The other option is drilling out the 15mm hole to 16 and use 16X8X5 bearings. |
I think Serum's 2nd option is best. However, a 16mm drill bit will cost you a pretty penny. The cheapest Mcmaster-Carr sells them for is $23, and that's for a reduced shank drill bit that requires a drill or drill press with a 1/2" chuck.

Monkey, if you want to do the second option and are not confident with it.
send them to me and my 'Mill Monkey' mate will sort that for you. just send a half ounce of Golden Virginia with them.......that keeps him happy :027: |
LOL!
How much ounces for the monkey to mill out a chassis? :p |
:027: not as much as you'd think....
I now have a 6mm Aluminium 'Torpedo' replica for the E Maxx (you could beat a whale to death with it) = cost me 4 ounces and a couple of pints :dft012: |
ive just gone for standard anything else seemed like to much effort :P
