What's REALLY sad is that she doesn't get it! And even sadder is the fact that these same people are allowed to vote.

I see things like this and just want to throw up my hands because if this is where humanity is going, we might as well nuke ourselves and save ourselves the trouble...

Yeah, saw this video yesterday & instantly went into rage mode. As someone pointed out on another forum, she forgot to take into account 2 basic things:

1) speed is constant
2) ignore all other variables

+1, vote, reproduce, lead corporations into the ground and hold public office.

Makes me wonder if we're collectively getting dumber, or is it just certain parts of society?

A general dumbing down must being happening through the innumerable 'happy land' distractions that surround us...there's been research recently into how our brains work in happy & unhappy states, the unhappy brain is more focused, observes more detail & works faster. To me it seems logical that in previous generations (stretching way back obviously) when times were tough our brains had to work harder to find solutions. Remove that need & our brains go into sleep mode

Move that theory forward a few steps & attractive people may have an easier time (usually less developed personalities) therefore requiring less brain power...it's not much of a theory but you probably get where I'm going with it! :lol:
