Hitec Transmitter compatible with what receivers?
Simple question, the title pretty much covers it. I need to get some extra receivers for my other cars, and Id like to get them as cheap and as small/ light as possible. Its an FM transmitter if that matters. Thanks in advance.

what frequency is you running? 75 or 27 The hitec hfs 03 mm is a nice rx. You just need the crystals to match up.

You can use Novak receivers (specified for Hitec) and Hitec receivers (specified for Hitec). There may be some other brands, but basically they need to say that they are for Hitec so that they match the positive/negative shift thing.

The Novak XXL recievers are a good choice for a small and light reciever and are pretty cheap on ebay.

Yeah, I use one of them in my Rustler with a MX-3.

My problem is I only have one decent transmitter and receiver between my Emaxx, TC3, and Evader. I have a Lynx FM and a novak xxl right now. I want to at least be able to use the Lynx with the Emaxx, but I think Im going to want a better transmitter soon, so it makes more sense right now to get a new radio system, and an extra receiver, so Ill have a total of 3 FM receivers for my 3 cars. But the best radios in my price range now seem to be Airtronics (MX3) and Futaba (I forget the model name, their cheapest FM computer radio), so I dont know if theyll be able to work with whatever new radio I end up with. |
I would personally get the MX-3S. Its worth the extra little money and I believe has a higher number of model memories.
