Quick question..

Hey guys,

Been meaning to put up some pics of my G3 Revo build but had a lot on my plate recently. In short, it's got a Novak Ballistic 8 motor and LRP iX8 speedo. Fitted a Slipperential in an RCM centre diff motor mount with 46t Delrin spur. Now I come to fill up the diffs and shocks with yucky stuff. 45 seems a tad overdamped in the shocks running orange springs on the front and gold on the rear. Was gonna run 50K in front diff, 20K in rear and 100K in centre. Now I'm not so sure. Any suggestions? I have quite a range of springs and the variable damping kit too. If someone can offer a well-proven set-up it would be a real help.

Many thanks,

Rootz

I wish I knew enough about proper diff & suspension tuning to offer better advice, but as a solo-basher, it isn't something I worry to much about ( truck runs in straight line and doesn't feel totally mush = win ). However, this setup sheet from Steve Slayden for the nitro revo3.3 might be a good starting point if nothing else:

If not, it would be worth visiting the idiot forum as there are actually a lot of guys & threads about setting up the erevo to handle properly- you can still search there without being signed up/in.

Thanks Neil.

That'll come in useful.
