HPI 5SC Flux 1/5 Scale Savage Based RTR
Anyone seen this?
I guess if weight is low enough and with 6s only the MMM/2200 setup should be okay. I would have preferred the 1717 though. Still cool and right at 1k. http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/106258/ http://www.towerhobbies.com/products/hpi/hpid6258.html http://www.hpiracing.com//graphics/kits/106258/001.jpg |
It's written that it has a savage drivetrain AND a center diff. It looks like a savage tranny/motor mount setup. Did they stuff a center diff in a savage tranny?
I'd take a 5ive-T with a 2028 over this:yes: Looks good though. |
To me it seems underpowered for its size, also looks like a nightmare to work on.
|
does anyone have an first hand experience with this?
How much of a difference is this from doing say a Savage Flux conversion with the TCS parts? |

Since it weight a lot more and is using the same motor as the savag flux hp they must have geared it down.
Dont think it will be underpowered though. |
If its got a center diff, there will lots of happy savage flux owners out there, myself included. It would be perfect for my flux XL
|
So does this have a center diff?
