Mugen mbx5t prospec

I've had the truggy for a little while, I bought it as a kit and converted it right away to electric. I ran it for quite some time with a hacker 16xl on 5s lipo, it was great until I blew the rotor apart (wasnt wrapped in kevlar or any material, the magnets just came off. so I pulled the motor out and have been running it with my hacker 13L, which is about 1800kv while the 16xl was 1200kv. The big difference is the length of the can and the torque at low end. The 13L on 4s powered my a mamba monster cogged a lot! So, I am now running a mamba max pro and its much better, deffinetly keeping that esc in there but I am in the market for a new motor. Thinking either tekin T8 or team epic D8 maybe team orion MR8L, all the motors I'm looking at are 1900-2000kv to run on 4s. Anyways, On to the pics and how it sits

the new spur gear hole since i flipped the center diff around

This is a older pic, when I first got it, the nobby pin tires wore down to nothing in about 5-6 battery packs and the body, well it doesnt look as good now

Some specs on it, that will stay the same for a long time. Yes, thats a 75mhz FM (I know, get with the times) at least its a 3pks. mamba max pro, hitec 5955tg steering servo and 5-20-2 diff oil with mugen 400 shock oil.

This is my first conversion btw, my next one will be very soon, like in a few weeks. It will be another brand new mugen, since I like the brand and my hoppy shop carrys parts for them, plus my other picks on 1/8th scales are way too much at the time, those would be the newest xray nitro buggy and the kyosho mp9 TKI3 or what ever that is.

Thanks for looking and reading.:yipi:

Your hobby shop stocks Mugen parts!!!!! WAY jealous as I own 3 Mugens and it would sure be nice to have a shop like that around the corner from me.

As i posted in your other thread...I am not a fan of using a MMpro in a truggy. A much better choice would be a Tekin T8 esc...plus if you use it with a Tekin motor...silky smooth !

Yeah, very few mugen parts maybe a peg board 2-3 feet wide and 5-6 ft tall of parts, mostly mbx5 parts though

Yeah, I just want to use the mmp since its the only sensored esc i have, I cant afford another esc at the moment or I might get a rx8 or even combo. I really want a neu 1515 2D or higher kv, so I'm keeping my eyes pealed for them on sites.

My MMpro is in a Ten T which is perfect....sensored to boot which is soooo smooth. When My mmm cooks in my truggy, I may get a Tekin set up for the sensored smoothness.
