Interesting body for sure...are those AL arms on the rear of the truggy? If so...which ones? I never liked Mugen shocks so if you decide to upgrade...I run the XRAY truggy shocks on mine and it made a huge difference in the feel of the truck.
Your homemade conversion looks good Out of curiosity....how much speed/power do you get out of 3s in a truggy? Reason I ask is I run 5s in mine |

I bought this car this week and includes all the arms in aluminum .... but I dont like because are much rigid, I preffer plastic and flexible .... I dont know where bought this alu arms, but if you are interested is possible sell ;) the mugen shocks with the correct silicon are great .....Im racing in 1/8tt and I have 3 mbx5 .... Im using big bores and mugen shocks ..... and works very similar ..... sincerely for my opinion, buy big bores is not necessary ;) the top speed is about 50-55kmh ..... I dont need more in the tracks I race :whip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnuGjfbopyI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LileA...hannel&list=UL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h4Dn...hannel&list=UL |

You turned some really good laps. It goes well for a 3s set up.
|
in comparison with a 1/8tt buggy is extremely easy drive this car ...... and fun
using this setup the motor temperatures are low ... 50-55cº ........ is possible put a bigger pinion and have +speed with a correct cº ;) |
Hello,
X-Y, instead of using a small motor with fan, use a bigger motor (4082) without fan, the result will be the same weight but more efficient. Therefore you can get lighter batteries and the overall weight will be lower ;) You can use the mugen mbx6eco center plastic spur and all the diff output of the mbx6 to gain weight too ;) (and the mbx6 pivot ball, etc...). NuZ. |
What tires are those?
|
the tires are included in the car when I bought ......... are xray

I also have a lbp4282 ..... but sincerely I dont need more power ..... the 4074 is perfect and have lower energy spent ..... the 4282 is the reservation if I have any problem ... is a beast motor :whip: |

Cool track. I can see why 3s is plenty for that track.
|
in this other track I use the same config ...... too big track for a 1/8tt
