UE Lightning
They stopped production a while back and someone is offering me one, I'm wondering how good they are in weight and performance in comparison to the G2?
I have a G1 currently but really like the look of the Lightning and it's higher pose. |
I'd have thier arm off for it Nick,
It my have a higher C of G but will turn your Maxx into a bully boy truck :028: |
I would go for a G2.
|
Snatch up that lightening chassis. GReat bashing chassis. Highly durable. NOt the same COG as the gmaxx chassis though, unless you mount your packs on the underside.
|
Very strong chassis. g2 can't compete strenght wise in a long shot. Best bash chassis out there. Best looking too.
Get it before someone else does... |
I never had the lightning. I did have the flm and it is some what simaliar. It is a buy it and don't worry about the chassis no more. It is a strong design.
|
Can the Lightning take Gorilla straps and is it a direct replacement chassis?
|
Yes, I'm almost positive on both of those.
|
I'm now a proud owner of a UE Lightning. ;)

they would be the strongest, if you can get them to fit. I've got a set on the Revo and they are sweeeeeeet :004: |
It comes with UE straps. ;)
Going to drop to 16 cells, was running 18 but was too mental... it was like my E-Maxx could teleport. :D |

Nick you do know you need a longer rear driveshaft right?
Longer slider will work, else the ext center cvd's from ue. Forget slider's on 16 cell's lol. You will need a longer cvd. |
Yep, I've got the UE EXT centres coming with it. :D
|
They 105 mm dog bone in case any one else wants to know to. The same fits the flm chassis.
