WOW !

That diesel NEU and Speed-O are a deadly combo and big coin, someone has serious intentions ?

Keep us posted with plenty of pics and hopefully some video when complete !

nitrostarter 07.13.2012 12:38 PM

Very nice sir!

Are you keeping the mechanical brakes on it?

brian015 07.13.2012 01:03 PM

I'll be interested to see this - so far so good.

I'm curious - which Neu motor (size/kv) are you using (I can't read the label)?

14s does that sound insane

Bondonutz 07.13.2012 03:24 PM

Considering this platform moves very well and flies like bird on 8s, yeah, 14s is Nucking Futs !

But should be entertaining and very efficient none the less !

12s, 14s, whatever it takes!

(Both will put you in the 20-22k rpm range - which should be a good place for the 22 series - I'm guessing, at least)

+1 :surprised: Agreed....wow!

Jony Nitro 07.13.2012 04:50 PM

Well this thing will take 10 s just to get warm, so pinion I bought 19'20,21 for good measure, but when funds allow will get another Neu from offshore.

nitrostarter 07.13.2012 04:56 PM

Good to see those Neu motors doing work in the U.K.!!!

Can't do the brakes because of the mount,

Yes bought the motor for my brushless Baja, crazy eh? But this should be fun

RC-Monster Mike 07.13.2012 06:08 PM

FYI - the mount is only one hole away from accepting mechanical brakes(the hole for the actuator) - with tall gearing like yours, there won't likely be any interference with the motor, either. :)
The open motor will be susceptible to collecting brake dust(aluminum dust basically). :)
