Im in no rush to finnish truck one but would like to get truck two running and am looking at the lehner 1950 8t, Quark ESC, and 6's lipo. Though i still like the idea of a plettenberg.

Thanks to mike who has supplied lots of parts

Ill keep this thread updated as the trucks get finnished

Very nice ride - might want to lose the aluminum bumper mounts - stockers are better than those in most situations.

Jasper 05.20.2006 10:45 AM

That's a sweet looking truck!

coolhandcountry 05.20.2006 01:10 PM

Well I can say the 1950 8t on 6s limn is awesome. I am having a hard time with front tires on the ground.
You have a nice looking truck. Do you plan on racing it?

The middle one show my 40 series alloys, these are very nice.

My spektrum arrived a few days ago, i must say im impressed, seems very good.

Some parts for maxx two arrived from mike, those Fastlane machine hybrid bulks are nice.

coolhandcountry 05.27.2006 02:17 PM

looking nice. What you plan on putting on for servo esc motor?

Guerilla 05.27.2006 02:41 PM

I thinking a pair of titianium gear Hitec servos, A wanderer 11XL but the A class version, along with a 9920 i expect. I think ill run it on 18 cells

For maxx two id like a quark ESC, Lehner 1950/8, 6's Lipo

Thanks for the comments

Jasper 05.27.2006 03:26 PM

The wanderer A class is a good choice! I run the wanderer A class 12XL on my 1/8 buggy. The torque is amazing! 16 gp3300 cells, 14/47 gearing with centerdiff and a 9920. I am getting 30 minutes run time and speed around 40mph. The motor is getting hand warm and the esc a little more than hand-warm. I think that my motor is really coming alive at 18/20 cells and a higher gearing.

squeeforever 05.27.2006 04:08 PM

Why not run a Feigao 540C XL?

coolhandcountry 05.27.2006 04:16 PM

What is the a class? Sounds like a winning combo. Like to see it when totally complete.
