Titanium Maxx F&R Skids
It seems these are hard to find these days. I have spent countless hours searching for them, and have only come up with a rear one. So I am still in need of a front one, but refuse to buy an Inte-crap (Integy brand) skid. The rear one I have is Hardcore Racing, which I am very happy with, so I would love to get a front one of the same kind...but if I can't its not a deal breaker of course.
I set of UE Titanium skids would be :yipi::party::great::love::yes: but I'm sure those are about as elusive as the VBS? And I'm not going to put an aluminum skid on. Bending those back after every run gets real old. If anyone can help me out, or has a front one for sale (or even a matching set) they think I might be interested in, please let me know! -Travis |

Interesting that I didn't come across this...wow I must've been
I think it could be de-anodized pretty easily. I've seen several how-to's on the subject. Thank you kind sir :yipi: -Travis |
Of course, I add it to my cart, and it says "item is no longer available" :grrrrrr:

Of course it does, I would have owned that one a long time ago if they had it in stock. LOL The purple HCR skids is one of the hardest HCR parts to get. I have had a set but someone buffed the purple off of the bottoms of them, just my luck.

Rc-Solutions makes a spring steel skid, that just bounces back after a big hit.
I know it's not titanium, but they are way better than buttery bendy aluminum. |
They cant be found easily in any color these days. I would say the easiest to find is silver.

Managed to gather up 3 HCR Ti skids for my Maxx project, thanks to Blazerss, and Amazon.com, lol!

Looks good, glad it all worked for you. What are those braces in between the chassis braces on the FLM chassis? I've seen a few people use them, but I don't know where to get them.

They are Axial Post 7x45mm Grey (2) AXA1426 (I just stripped the anodizing and polished them)
I got mine on eBay for $11 shipped. -Travis |

No problem! :great: Glad I could help!
I liked the look of them, figured they couldn't do anything but strengthen it up, and they're relatively cheap, so what the heck! -Travis |
