Punch control vs air control

Does someone know if the punch control on a MMM affect the air control while jumping.

Or since the tork require to spin the wheel freely in almost notting.

Maybe my wheel and tire combo are too lite to get a good control. ( Maybe I'm not too good at it too ;) )

Very good question. From my understanding, punch control tends to work by limiting the spool-up speed of the motor, where as torque control limits the torque of the motor ( when there is a load on it however- no load = can still spool up quickly ). I would hazard a guess and say more punch control would indeed limit how well you can control the truck in the air ( I have zero skill in that area, only random luck ), so if you can activate the torque control feature on your esc, give that a try instead maybe..
