Whats the best first upgrade, chassis or suspension?

Hi Everyone

I Just joined , i gotta say this is the best place i've been for getting info great forum.

I'am after a bit of advice from the experts, I love seeing the no money object trucks on here Drool........but i'm on a bit a of tight budget, think i'm gonna call my truck ebaymaxx!! and was wondering whats the best upgrade to do first the chassis or the suspension? Can't afford both :012: I hopefully will be getting the proline powerstroke shocks off ebay, dont outbidme:027: and a hitec 645MG servo for the steering if that helps.

If its the chassis first i will be 80% bashing and 20% poss racing should i go alloy or carbon?

Suspension wise who's best performance for ££££ Integy, gorillamaxx or UE Widetrac?

I'll post some pictures as i go, might be quite nice to see a cheap as i can get it truck?

Well the chassis helps out some. So does the suspension. The gorilla chassis really helps for it lowers the center of gravity down and you can extend it to. The integy type 3 makes a difference. The ue stuff is so expensive but is well built stuff. I am testing out the gmaxx suspension now.

I would start with the chassis, the suspension is good with proper setup. If you start with the chassis you have a good backbone to build on

Almost forgot.....Welcome to the forums

I would choose the G2 chassis and then suspension. As for suspension, I would go for the Integy. It's go the design of the UE Racer-X and is at only a fraction of the cost. The main reason most like it is because of the True-Trac rear suspension design.

the G2 chassis is the way to go. Also another option for suspension would be the FLM suspension because it has a good warranty and isnt all that expensive.
