Mm settings for outrunners ?
 

I have been testing ab axi 2212/34 outrunner in myv1/16 summit with a mm esc! At speed it works great but from a standstill it coggs and sometimes start the motor in the oposite direction !

My settings on the mm are :

Firmware 1,39
Timeing high
Start upp power high
No punshcontrol

The truck is geared 16/55t and i use stock mini summit tires and a 3s lipo.

If i stop the truck upphill it will not be able to continue forward when i apply trottle it just rolls down the hill :( but if the truck moves before the hill the motor has plenty of torq to climb!

I got it to work great now :) sometimes ?
It can start the motor smooth in forward and reverse but sometimes out of the blue it coggs like crazy and starts in the wrong direction or just chaces back an forth ? Why ?(even with the wheels in the air)
I tested the stok inrunner with the same settings and that motor does the same ?

I mounted the inrunner in the summit now and changed everything back to were i got them before testing the outrunner and it works great now.

The esc has to work out the rotor position. Iirc out runners need high startup power
