CC Sidewinder 8th

Thoughts on the new addition to the 8th scale family? I'm curious about the changes to the 1515, the can design is similar to the 1406 family of motors. I know it says "featuring the same internal design as our award winning " But i wonder if it makes the same power, seems it might need to be a lower amp draw for a smaller esc as compared to the MMV2? |
I just want to know who's sexy hands are holding the esc on castle's page.
(throwback thursday- way back in the day we always called out hand porn on this site:mdr:) "1515" refers to the length and diameter of the rotor, so being the same I would imagine the motors power is quite similar. They do note a weight limit of 11 lbs. Heavier trucks would obviously draw more current, so it appears to me they have used the weight limit to lower the current demand of the smaller esc rather than a less powerful motor. That price is awesome! Way to go Castle! |
HAND PORN!!!!
Gotta love throwback Thursdays. I knew you were a bit slow Harold but I had not idea you were a throwback!!! Has the scientific community be alerted? You are the missing link!!! Goodbye! (said in pompous British woman's voice) |
What's the difference between a 1515B and a traditional 1515?

Thanks for the info Patrick. There is so much speculation and misinformation on the inter webs. It's nice to be able to come here and get definitive answers.

Obviously I would say easier and hence cheaper to make...

Yeh, that's a hot price. Though I didn't see an amp rating for the esc.
